First Round Application and Selection:

• Application Period: January 1 to February 28, 2026

• Deadline for preliminary review, public notice, and recommendation submission by schools (departments, institutes, centers): March 20, 2026

• Announcement of funded candidates: Tentatively mid-April 2026

Second Round Application and Selection:

• Application period: September 1 to October 20, 2026

• Deadline for School/Department/Institute Preliminary Evaluation, Public Notice, and Recommendation Submission: November 10, 2026

• Announcement of Funding Recipients: Tentatively scheduled for late November 2026

Application Materials

All application materials must be completed in Chinese or English and include the following:

1. Peking University BoYa Postdoctoral Program Application Form (see attachment);

2. Letter of Confirmation from the Peking University Postdoctoral Collaborating Mentor (clearly stating the recruitment decision and providing explanations and confirmation regarding the applicant’s research background, academic achievements, research capabilities in relation to the mentor’s research field, overall qualifications, proposed research plan upon joining the station, research conditions provided by the mentor, and additional annual funding support, signed by the mentor).

3. Two letters of recommendation (must include one from the doctoral advisor, which must evaluate the applicant's adherence to academic ethics). Recommenders should send signed letters directly to the email address of the postdoctoral affairs officer in the corresponding school (department, institute, center) (see table below);

4. Other materials: Academic degree certificates, proof of published achievements, etc.

Submission Method for Application Materials

Applicants must combine items 1, 2, and 4 into a single PDF file, with item 3 submitted separately. Email subject lines should read: “Peking University 2026 First/Second Batch BoYa Postdoctoral Program Application + Applicant's Name.” Submit all materials by the deadline to Professor Liu at the Department of Philosophy: fengl.liu@pku.edu.cn. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
