Hank's elementary school teacher sent a mass email saying there would be a surprise today. At noon, when he opened the front door, he found a sign that read: My Teacher Misses Me. Hank was thrilled and wrote back to his teacher. At first, I thought it might be a small card or something, but I never expected it to be such a big sign. In the U.S., I feel the relationship between teachers, students, and parents is much closer. So far, we've received emails from teachers and the school almost every day, reminding us of important matters. Of course, we also get emails from school administrators. Sometimes, if there's important information, we receive recorded calls from the university or elementary school reminding us to check our emails. I sometimes forget to answer, and the call just keeps ringing. The school also offers free lunches, but we haven't gone to pick them up since we don't want to go out. I hope this pandemic ends soon!
