On March 1, 2025, the “Workshop on the Sociology of Religion and Chinese Intellectual History” and manuscript seminar for the book Sociology of Religion and Intellectual History Research, hosted by the Department of Philosophy at Peking University, was successfully held at Peking University. The conference featured multidimensional discussions centered on Professor Sun Shangyang's forthcoming selected papers collection, Research on Sociology of Religion and Intellectual History. Nearly 30 scholars from institutions including Peking University, Tsinghua University, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University, Sichuan University, Minzu University of China, Shandong University, Yunnan University, Shanghai University, and Shanghai Normal University participated in the event.
